Mayberry Minutemen

It's basically what the Weather Channel used to be.  The most disturbing thing about the Weather Channel becoming reality TV is that so many people depend on having that sort of 24-hour, constant source of weather forecasts and alerts.  It's going beyond just depriving folks of quality entertainment and venturing into the territory of hindering in an important service to the public.

Of course the Weather Channel is a private company and isn't legally bound to provide us with the weather, but still...
