If you enjoy the old Twilight Zone, this movie will be right up your alley.  It's a cult classic from the good old days, and one of my all-time favorites.  Due to the production studio neglecting to renew its copyright, it's since fallen into public domain and is free to watch (legally) online.

It was low budget, but well ahead of its day in terms of its plot and twist ending.
